Who says there''s no such thing as a purebred dog in a shelter? Well they''re just plain wrong because I''ve been DNA tested and my results came back pure Catahoula Leopard Dog! Yep, my parents were Catahoulas, my parent''s parents were Catahoulas and even my parent''s parent''s parents were Catahoulas! How''s that for science?! Being true to my breed, I''m an active girl with plenty of energy to keep you on your toes. Traditionally Catahoulas were used to herd hogs and cows, so being a workin'' girl and having a job (or at least plenty of exercise and activities) will keep me at my happiest. And after a long day''s work, kicking back and spending some quality time with my person(s) is my idea of a great way to spend an evening. Just don''t make me share you with another dog, please. I want to be your one and only, that''s my only request. So how about it? Is an active girl with a big heart for her humans what you''re looking for in a dog? If you said yes, then I''m your girl!
